ROPEWALK

Activating hidden space

Where does strength lie?

A woman and rope are drawing a line;

safety is embedded in the fabric of care

Intrust, you are invited to travel and to witness…

Jenny is an Irish interdisciplinary artist-researcher living in London. Her live art explores creative embodiment practices & visceral processes as ethical, ecological, socio-cultural and personal enquiries. She blends research in somatic psychology, philosophy & phenomenology with her subjective experience, linking modalities & expanding perspective to consider meaning and purpose. Her movement practice interconnects internal & external space by inhabiting the body through accessing the felt sense and haptic perception. Using an object, she facilitates action through touch, generating form & visual composition in the landscape as performance drawing. The spectator is invited to participate through witnessing, creating interrelation within the whole environment.
